Being A Teenage Girl!!
Half of the population go through being a Teenage girl!! It is a very difficult time in your life but it is also the best time!
Everyone says hormones are very stressful. The worst thing is as soon as you hit 13 years old and get abit of a strop on everyone says shes hormonal, just ignore her!! It is one of the most annoying things someone could just say to a teenage girl!! It is mainly older sisters who say this to you. When I was 13 ( I'm 17 now ) I had already started my period and had done for about a year, and I admit sometimes when I was a little bit moody I put it down to hormones because I actually had nothing to be moody about. But most of the time it wasn't that!!
Through high school I was a very private person about everything. I didn't tell anyone anything for example : I didn't tell my mates who I fancied, I didn't want to tell anyone when I was on my period or when I had to shave my legs and stuff. I found it quite hard but it didn't have to be. I realised one day that every women in the world has a monthly period, So don't be embarressed to tell anyone about it. I'm not saying announce it to the entire form room at school or tell the whole family but tell your mum or sister or someone like that. A best friend about your age who might have started there period already is a good person to talk to about it. They would have just been through it aswell.
For girls looks is a very big important thing in there life. They always gotta look good! Some girls are very girly, start wearing make up at a early age but some girls dont. I was abit of a chav when I was younger. Still am abit now but not as much. I didn't own any dresses or skirts, wore trousers to school, loved wearing trackies and jumpers. But I wore that because I wanted to. I had this friend though who was like me. I knew she liked wearing trackies, trainers, jumpers stuff like that but she felt that she would never get a boyfriend, never have any friends or never be in the big popular girl group at school if she didn't straighten her hair every morning, wear very short skirts or plaster her face in make up. But boys in high school, lets say year 7 & 8, they look for the nice girls, some boys look for prettiness but thats just they way they are but most of them like whats inside that girl. They don't want some slag as a girlfriend who throws her self around every boy in the year doing anything they want her to do. When I was in year 7 I had never had alot of boyfriends, I had 2 or 3 but I didn't need one. I was still young. I had alot of friends who were boys and most of the time I liked talking and hanging around with my guy mates more then my girl mates. Now your probably thinking at my school if a girl hangs around with just boys loads they get called a weirdo and a boy herself, or if a boy hangs around with girls alot they get called gay and this could hurt some people if you let it hurt you but thats what them people want to do. So be yourself around everyone out of school, in school and in classes. Don't not work and throw your life away in classes cause its not COOL to answer questions cause what I did was always think ahead of my life in that moment of time. I thought in classes later on when i've got a good job and they haven't I will be better than them and if I don't have my 1st boyfriend or my 1st proper kiss til later on in my life it doesn't matter because when I am about 15, 16 or even older than that it will feel great, because when your older you can properly date, with your 1st boyfriend you can go to the movies and for a meal then out with mates late. But when your 12 or 13 you basically only see them at school, yeh maybe weekends but what is there to do thats nice, private and romantic at that age!!
And when your older and you break up with your boyfriend it is a very hard time either way if you break up with them or they break up with you. There is just one very big tip I wanna give you now, Never break up with someone because someone else has told you to or if you have a funny feeling they like someone else, because 1 out of 10 times you will be wrong, its just them hormonal times coming back up again. and NEVER break up with someone over msn, text or social networking websites. I know at that age people find it hard to do it face to face but its horrible over something like that. If you think you really cant break up with someone face to face ringing them is the next best thing because then you can talk to them and get an immediate responce. Cause think about it this way, if you text them they might not have credit to text back, mobile might be out of battery and they might not get it for ages. And social networking is just confusing, emails they might just think there chain mail and delete them or not look at there emails or might read them when with mates and then that is a horrible moment for you them and very aw quad for his mates!!!
But if he dumps you just never keep in your emotions, try to keep them in to him if you think you need to but meet up with a mate, arrange a sleepover and spend a night with them telling them how you feel, or even your mum, they might not always get it right whats going wrong with you at that moment but they are true for when they say, they will always be there for you.
But now if your still reading which hopefully you are your thinking thats loads to read and to take in, thats just about boys and looks were getting to friends and family now!! Teenage girls are the worst of falling out with there mates, at the time you get upset and angry about it but when I look back at my experiences now I just laugh becuase my true friends that I fallen out with in the past are still my best mates now and always will be.
Every girl falls out with her girl mates over basically anything, if it involves boys they both like, one of you are going out with a guy who your suppose to know your friend liked him to but they actually never told you, or even if its shoes, clothes, or looks, Your prettier than one of your friends and they dont like it and get jealous or something like that.
Im not going to tell you to try and avoid falling out with mates because thats the whole thing about growing up. If your thinking shes just making this up now ask your mums and aunties or even older sisters, cousins or friends. Even if you say I hate her and I hope I never make up or see or talk to her again you know deep deep down you never mean it. There your friends and they always will be. Yes I know everybody dont get along or like everybody. And thats just something people have to get along with. Just dont tell not very close friends who you hate and never bitch about people with alot of people, you don't want to be called a gossip cause then no body will tell you anything and believe me... If you keep it to yourself you get told other stuff and you aren't wandering around one day or in the middle of a conversation and people move somewhere else or whisper when you walk by cause they don't want it to be spreaded around everyone in a couple of minutes. Everyone tells there best mates everything they hear about someone, everybody does it, No body will ever admit it but you know they do.
Teenage girls also fall out at sometime in there life with there parents, if its over you think your old enough to do something they don't and then stop you, They find out something you've done either if its about you and your boyfriend or with your mates and they then think they know what to do about it. Parents say they know best but believe me they don't!! Parents might know alot about there children but when your a teenage girl they don't know the half of what you feel!! Because everyone is different remember!!! Do you think when your mum and dad were your age they were perfect little angels to there parents, they might say there weren't ever as bad as you are to them but they were. If its the odd swear word now and then or if its the cheek or sarcasm you give them its like hitting the play button on a video of there life when they were your age. But never talk about boyfriends or anything like that around your dad!!! Remember your his little girl he doesn't want to think of you having a boyfriend or when your older kissing them or stuff like that!! I don't get aswell when girls have lots of boyfriends or maybe loose there virginity at a younger age then someone else they might get called a slag by some people but then a boy goes and haves sex at 16 or 17 which is still abit young for some people maybe and they just get off with it. No body even thinks about it like that, Or when a boy gets drunk with alcohol hes not suppose to have his street cred goes up alot!! But when an 15 or whatever age goes and gets drunk at that age with there mates when there not suppose to they get called loads of names!!
People have to know in this world there are lots of mean, horrible people who will try and make everyone they cross life hell!!! Just stay positive and they won't hurt you!!! If you follow what you want you will always come out on top!! Never compare your self to people, family or friends because remember one thing...
